another semester nearly done

They lounge in the dorm room, each of the six there for a pupose totally different. There are the roommates, the best friend, the girlfriend, the neighbor from down the hall, the neighbor from another floor. The music blares in the background as four of them beat each other senseless using an electronic means. The finer points of nintendo are divulged by the better players and the less experienced fighters struggle just to stay alive in the hostile environment of Yoshi's Island.It has just now started to sink in that in only one month, another year will be over. Time has passed so quickly. Fleeting moments have come and gone bringing memories that will last a lifetime.
It's only Tuesday night, but it feels like a weekend.
